"Looking in to the mirror one
morning (about 3 months ago), I discovered that I indeed wasn't
the thin, fit person I thought I was. I was becoming fat and
lazy. I'd gotten to the point where I just wasn't happy with the
way I looked, but I didn't know what to do about it. I knew that
I had to do something – and soon – before it got even
worse.
My quest started by running a search for "personal
online trainer" and I ended up coming across several websites.
Surely there would be a "half-way decent" website out there
somewhere. In an attempt to figure out which one would be the
best for me I sent e-mails to the websites I was interested in,
and asked for more information. Chad quickly replied within an
hour with a personal e-mail. After exchanging a couple of
e-mails I realized that Global Health & Fitness was exactly
the service I was looking for, with complete nutritional,
exercise and fitness programs that were custom-tailored to each
members goals. I've done exercise programs before, but was never
confident that I was doing everything properly.
I signed
up and subsequently filled out their questionnaire providing
information about where I was now and my personal goals, the
time and equipment I had available, etc. I was determined, I was
motivated, and my GHF personal trainer sent me a link to
GHF's 12 week Fitness Challenge. Surely these past
contest winners were the exception, not the rule, right? There
was no way I could make that sort of incredible
transformation.
The GHF staff assured me that I could
achieve outstanding results, similar to those seen on their
website, by using their personalized services and programs
developed by their impressive fitness professionals. I decided
I'd give it a shot. Why not, what did I have to lose?
I
took pictures of myself and filled out my Before Materials
Application. After having my bodyfat tested and seeing my
photos, I became very discouraged, and disappointed. However,
instead of letting this get me down I just let it fuel my
energy. This is not who I was, I had to make a change before it
was too late. I was skeptical about staying on such a program,
but excited at the same time.
I purchased a
Bowflex out of the local newspaper, determined that I
would be successful. There were definitely difficulties,
complications and obstacles. It wasn't all fun and games. Bad
knees and a recurring back injury prevented me from jogging or
jumping rope for my cardio. I settled on purchasing a mountain
bike for my cardio. I never once stepped foot in to a gym. All
of my strength training sessions were done on a Bowflex
using the Global Health & Fitness ProTrack
software, and workout schedules that I downloaded from the
website.
With the timely advice from very own online
personal trainer, Dani Myers, and variety of their other
experts, I stuck to it, and even began to enjoy and look forward
to every minute of my workouts. From the beginning of the
contest, I've lost 45 pounds of fat, and put on 18 pounds of
lean body mass. I went from 33% bodyfat to just 15% body fat in
less then 12 weeks!!
I'm in the best shape I've ever been
in. I feel great and have more energy then I could have ever
imagined. The compliments I receive on my physique are humbling,

"I am totally thrilled with my Global
Health and Fitness membership. I was using a personal trainer in
a gym three times a week for 5 months at several hundreds of
dollars a month. Now, for less than $20 a month I can have the
same personal guidance, but not with just one personal trainer,

"I recently competed in the first
12-week fitness contest held by GHF. I am currently 29 years old
and married with a small child. I was really feeling horrible
about myself and what the future might hold for me and my
physical health. I had tried to lose weight many times in the
past (just like the majority of people who are reading
this).
When I first joined GHF's online
fitness program and started their fitness contest I weighed 248
lbs. and had 19.7% bodyfat. My initial 12-week goals were to
lose 25 lbs. and 6% bodyfat. I was both nervous and anxious to
see if I could reach these goals. I can't really put into words
what happened, but I had a major shift in my mindset about
losing weight. The contest was still a great motivator, but I
simply decided that I would lose the weight and keep it off
because I wanted to.
I worked very closely with the GHF
staff to set up my customized workout programs (for both weights
and cardio) and dietary needs (to make sure that I maintained as
much lean muscle mass as possible, while losing excess bodyfat).
Now it was up to me. I got down to 225 lbs. and 13.2% bodyfat. I
was so excited that I had reached my goals and honestly couldn't
believe that I actually really did it. However, I accomplished
my 12-week goal in just 6 weeks! I still had 6 more weeks to
go.
So, I reevaluated my goals and reset
them to get down to 210 lbs. at 10% bodyfat for the full 12
weeks. If I was successful in achieving this goal, I would be in
the best physical health I had ever been in my entire life. With
the weekly motivation and newsletter e-mails and personal
guidance from GHF, as well as all the excellent programs, I was
totally focused. And I am very please to say that at the end of
the 12-week contest I weighed 208 lbs. at just 6.6% bodyfat!!

"After many attempts at trying to
stay motivated with a weightlifting and cardio program, I
realized that I had two major problems that needed to be
overcome. First, I was always in doubt whether the
weightlifting/cardio program I designed was the most effective
for my goals. Secondly, I did not have confidence that my
technique was correct. As I sped towards 40 years old, the risk
of injury due to small flaws in technique seemed magnified. I am
a self-motivated person, and did not feel I needed a day to day
instructor or trainer, but I did need professional fitness
expertise and advice.
GHF was the answer to my problems.

Did

"Prior to joining GHF, I weighed
as much as I had 14 years earlier when I was 9 months pregnant
with my son. I also had fibromyalgia and spent sleepless nights
suffering from chronic back pain. I tried to keep up with our
family's active lifestyle but found myself begging off more
often than not. I looked -- and felt -- middle-aged. I couldn't
run the 1/2-mile loop around the local park; even a short walk
around the block left me winded. In addition, my hands hurt so
badly that I could not open a jar.
Fortunately, I came across the Global
Health & Fitness website. Here was a program I could fit

I needed to make fitness a way of life. This is exactly what I

Three months ago I was 18% bodyfat and

"Global Health and Fitness is the
very best thing that I have ever done! People outside the US,
please don't let the exchange rate turn you away! The programs
are easy to implement and very effective. They are varied to
prevent boredom and 'shock' your muscles continually by doing
different exercises and techniques.
I had a discectomy in June of 2000 at
level L4-5. I also found out I have degenerative disc disease at
L3-4. I knew that I had to get my butt in gear and do something
before I ended up a total wreck. September 6, 2000, I joined the
local gym doing my physical therapy. I received a work out from
a trainer and okayed it with my therapist. I quickly became
tired of this modified routine. I wanted more.
A friend told me about GHF. That was
October 19, 2000. Then entered Dani into my fitness life and

plugging away on my exercise program. This week I am beginning
the 9th week of the second phase of your Strength and Power
program. So far, I haven't missed a single workout. I am pleased

years I have used many methods. There are several record-keeping
programs available for strength training, but none, to my
knowledge, offers the variety and sequence of Protrack 2005. The

own strength training program. The change in my diet has lasted
now for about 2.5 months. About 7 weeks ago I realized that I

"I'm a mother of four very active
sons, ages 14, 12, 7, and 3Ѕ. Prior to joining Global Health and
Fitness, I weighed 153 pounds and I was so embarrassed of how
much I weighed that I knew I had to do something. My body had so
many aches and pains. I slept fitfully, my ankles would swell
up, and I would get headaches daily.
At one point, I "bit the bullet" and
joined a local fitness center. I soon lost several pounds, but I
was doing the same thing every other day and not seeing any real
results in terms of my muscle tone. I was at a loss about what
to do to change my body composition. I felt I had reached a
plateau.
Then I decided to surf the web for
information on exercise and weight management and I came across
Global Health and Fitness. At first I was very skeptical about
the whole thing and decided to try out the Beginner, Phase I
workout. I was hooked! I continued for 2 months and was so

"For me, it all started just over
two years ago when I realized I was not the "thin" woman that I
used to be nor was I the thin woman I thought of myself as
being. I had changed jobs from a very active physical one to one
where I sat in front of the computer 8 hours a day. My doctor
had put me on a medication for some female problems, with one
side effect being weight gain. I had just passed my 31st
birthday, and I had crept up to 145 lbs and 30% body fat before
I realized it.
My first mission was weight loss. I
started by going to the gym where I had paid dues for several
years but had only been a handful of times. For the past two
years I had been doing strength-training with sporadic cardio
workouts, and I was feeling pretty good about myself, as I was
down to 135lbs and 25.79% body fat. But I still had that last
little hump that I needed to get over. I continually struggled
with my cardio workout as it was always the first thing that I
cut from my day and the last thing I wanted to get out of bed
for.
But then I found global-fitness.com,
joined their online fitness program, and hooked up with one of
their wonderful experts, Dani Myers. I was never so glad to
"meet" someone in my whole life. What a godsend!
I never realized how ignorant I was
about nutrition until I joined GHF. I learned so much! And the
workouts were designed to very easy to do on my own...and
extremely effective! There is just so much knowledge on the GHF
website, and I love all the personal support and guidance. The

So my new mission was to enter GHF's
12-week fitness contest and get between 16-18% body fat. With
the Dani's help via GHF, I planned my strategy. I would continue
with my 3 day/week strength-training, do a regular cardio
workout 3 hrs/week, and modify my diet. I took my before
pictures and I forged ahead. I noticed changes in my body very
quickly and at the 6-week mark, I had dropped to 122 lbs and
20.16 % body fat -13 lbs and 5% in 6 weeks! It was just
mind-boggling to me that I could make these kind of changes so
quickly. I couldn't wait to see what the next 6 weeks would
hold.
I was actually getting these little
lines in my stomach (a dream come true). I checked my body fat
and weight weekly to make sure that my lean muscle mass was not
dropping and that it was just fat that was decreasing. At the
end of 12 weeks, I had achieved my goal: 17.3% body fat and 115
lbs. I lost a total of 20lbs & 8.5% of fat. I have never
felt this fit or healthy in my life, ever. People in my office
building keep stopping me and asking me how I made these

"When I first learned about the
Global-Fitness.com online fitness program I thought, 'That's
great, but it's not really something for me.' I have always been
thin and never struggled with weight loss; instead, the biggest
struggle I have had is keeping the weight on! Even though I have
always been thin and very active in sports, I have never been
completely confident with my appearance. I knew if I really ate
a lot, I could probably gain a little weight, but I was not
interested in doing so if it just meant I would increase my body
fat and not necessarily improve my physical
appearance.

"Six months ago I was very
overweight and feeling pretty bad about myself. I was totally
disgusted by the way I looked and felt. Then I found Global
Health & Fitness. After reading the first newsletter I
decided to join their online fitness program. That first day I
decided to go over to their Members Only Chat Room. That's where
I met Chad, one of their fitness experts. I gave him every
excuse in the book why I could not follow through with a fitness
program. He encouraged me to join their fitness competition and
get started with his recommendations. Little did I know that

"I was in search of a personal
trainer, but soon realized that they are very expensive. I was
searching the web for training programs and came across GHF. I
checked out the site and it was very helpful; I was a little
skeptical that anyone could offer me something I did not already
know. Having a degree in physiology myself along with many years
of training, I was not sure if GHF was going to be worth it. I

throughout these last couple of months. When I started, I
weighed 102 Kgs, my pants size was 38", and my shirts neck size
was 18". Today I weigh 90 Kgs, my pants size is 31" and my
shirts neck size is 17"! When I first started, I didn't take a
picture of my self because I didn't think I would change that
much but know I think it would have be great to have my
beginning picture.

"I am 69 years old and have been
on one diet or another since I was 39. Then I found The GHF
Customized Diet Plan through Global-Fitness.com. I weighed 210
when I started in August, 2001, and currently now weigh 179 and
am still counting down. I probably would have lost more fat, but
we have been on three 7-day cruises since September. My pants
size has gone from a tight 40 to a comfortable 37. My size 36
Levi's are still a little too tight, but I can fasten them and
sit down in them. I know they will fit comfortably before
long.
I bought a couple of new pants about
a month before the last cruise and another pair about a week
before. When I dressed for dinner the first night they were all
too big. The ship's tailor was able to alter the newest pair to
fit, but the others were so big that the back pockets came
together when he tried to take the waist in. It was wonderful.
Fortunately, the tux was a rental, so the size was not a
problem. I am so pleased with the way now I look that I am going
to buy a tux.
I have been the world's slowest
runner for the last 17 years, usually dragging in at about a
15-minute mile. Since I have been following The GHF Customized
Diet Plan my speed has improved phenomenally. I am now running
easily at an 11, sometimes 10-minute mile. I can now run about
30 miles per week.
When I got out of the service in 1955
I weighed 170 pounds. That is my goal and I know that I will
make it with your great program and all the personal attention
you and your experts give me. I am very comfortable with this
sensible, effective diet plan. It allows for a lot of variety
and the food suggestions are great! I will soon be at a
maintenance level, but it won't be all that different, just a

Dave. Last week's weight was 174. These last few pounds are the
hardest, but the inches are really falling off. We bought size
34 jeans two weeks ago (down from 40), and it is just about time
to go for 32's. Maybe next week. He has learned the hard way
about buying prematurely. He has a lot of new clothes that
became too big after one wearing. Some did before he wore them
at all, but we were able to take those back. We do a lot of
races and, consequently, have a lot of race T-shirts. He has
gone from XL to medium. I have to watch him to keep him out of
mine. We are going this week to buy new dress shirts. He wants
to buy a tux for the cruises, but that will definitely have to
wait until his weight stabilizes. Anyway, I just wanted to
update you on his progress. He is doing so great on your program

of the beginner strength training program and am very pleased
with and excited about the results. I lost ten lbs. of fat and
lost a couple inches off my waist. My goal is to lose 60 more
lbs., which would put me at 195 lbs. This week I started four
days a week of strength training and three or four days of
cardio training. I visit the gym at 5:00am five days a week. On
mornings when I cannot work cardio in to my workout, I return in
the afternoon for a quick 20- to 30-minute session.
The weight is finally coming off and
I love it! I am eating better and have a lot more energy and
confidence. I am looking forward to this next 12 weeks and
absolutely love my GHF membership! Without your incredible
programs and personal guidance I don't think I would have
achieve nearly as good of results, if any at all. Thanks so much
